Memory Comments: Modules must be ordered and installed in pairs for Dual Channel mode. Modules must be ordered and installed in group of four For Quad Channel mode. This system supports 1.5V DDR3 and 1.35V Low-Voltage DDR3 memory. When mixing DIMMs of different voltages, system runs memory at 1.5V. Due to chipset limitations, DDR3 Quad Rank memory will operate at 1066MHz in One-DIMM-per-Channel. Installing Quad Rank modules in Two-DIMM-per-Channel will operate at 800MHz. This system supports either Registered ECC or Unbuffered ECC memory. Mixing Registered ECC and Unbuffered ECC modules is not supported. Using ECC Registered DIMM: any configuration up to 256GB can be reached using 1GB, 2GB, 4GB, 8GB and 16GB Registered modules in pairs. Using ECC Unbuffered DIMM: any configuration up to 128GB can be reached using 1GB, 2GB and 4GB ECC-Unbuffered modules in pairs.
