- Memory Comments: DDR3-1333 modules automatically clock down to 1066MHz and 800MHz depending on the number of modules installed. Advanced ECC mode require x4 modules. This system supports either Registered ECC or Unbuffered ECC memory. Mixing Registered ECC and Unbuffered ECC modules is not supported within this system. Using Registered ECC DIMMs: any configuration up to 64GB can be reached using any combination of 2GB, 4GB, 8GB and 16GB modules. Using ECC Unbuffered DIMMs: any configuration up to 16GB can be reached using any combination of 2GB, 4GB and 8GB modules.
