- Memory Comments: modules automatically clock down memory speed and voltage depending on which processor is used and the number of modules installed. Advanced ECC mode require x4 modules. Modules of different memory types CANNOT be mixed within the same system. Low Voltage RDIMMs and LRDIMMs are supported on Opteron 6200 and newer processors. Please refer to motherboard and processor manuals for supported configurations. Using LRDIMMs: Any configuration up to 1TB can be reached using any combination 32GB modules in groups of four. Using ECC Registered DIMMs: Any configuration up to 1TB can be reached using any combination 2GB, 4GB, 8GB, 16GB, and 32GB modules in Group of four. Using ECC Unbuffered DIMMs: Any configuration up to 128GB can be reached using 2GB, 4GB, and 8GB modules in Group of four.
