Intel S2600GZ4 Server Board GRIZZLY PASS

- Memory Comments: DDR3-1600 modules automatically clock down to 1333MHz, 1066MHz, and 800MHz depending on which Intel Xeon model is installed and how many module Banks are populated. Please refer to the system manual for proper installation of DIMMs for Single, Dual, Triple, and Quad Channel configurations. Due to chipset limitations, DDR3 Quad Rank memory is limited to operate at a maximum of 1066Mhz. When two Quad Rank modules are installed per channel, the processor will automatically clock them down to 800MHz. Quad Rank modules are limited to 2 DIMMs Per Channel only. Third bank must remain empty. Maximum configuration is 512GB (16x32GB QR RDIMMs). Mixing x4 and x8 modules is allowed, however not within the same bank. Intel Xeon E5 Series processors support 1.5V DDR3 and 1.35V low-voltage DDR3L memory. If 1.5V and 1.35V DIMMs are mixed, all DIMMs run at 1.5V. Unbuffered ECC UDIMM, Registered RDIMM and Load Reduced LRDIMM memory modules. Modules of different memory types cannot be mixed within the same system. Using Registered ECC RDIMMs: Any configuration up to 512GB can be reached using 2GB, 4GB, 8GB, 16GB and 32GB modules or kits. Using ECC Registered DIMMs: Any configuration up to 128GB can be reached using 2GB, 4GB, and 8GB modules or kits. Using Load Reduced DIMMs: Any configuration up to 768GB can be reached using 32GB modules or kits.
