HP ProLiant DL385 G5p Opteron Quad-Core 2.4GHz (500106-421)
- Standard Memory: 2GB or 4GB (Removable)
- Maximum Memory: 128GB using two processors
- Memory Expansion: 16 Sockets Total 8 Sockets (4 banks of 2) per processor
- CPU: AMD Opteron Quad Core 2.4GHz
- Chipset: ServerWorks HT2100
- Bus Architecture: PCI Express; PCI-X
- Memory Comments: Four single ranked DIMMs per processor node yields 2-way bank interleaving. Four dual ranked DIMMs per processor node yields 4-way bank interleaving. Mixing single and dual ranked DIMMs on the same processor node will disable bank interleaving. Kits must be installed in decreasing capacity with the largest kits installed in the banks furthest away from each processor. A 64-bit operating system is required to utilize more than 4GB of memory. Any combination of 1, 2, 4, 8, and 16GB kits can be installed to reach configurations up to 64GB.
