Memory Comments: Modules must be ordered and installed in group of four for Quad Channel mode. This system supports either Registered ECC or Unbuffered ECC memory. Mixing Registered ECC and Unbuffered ECC modules is not supported within this system. DDR3-1600 memory can only be supported with Opteron 6200 series or later processors. 8GB single-rank and 16GB dual-rank modules and kits support requires Opteron 6200 series or later processors. Opteron 6100 series processors support 8GB dual-rank kits. Using ECC RDIMMs: Any configuration upto 256GB can be reached using 4GB, 8GB, 16GB and 32GB Modules. Using ECC UDIMMs: Any configuration upto 64GB can be reached using 4GB and 8GB Modules.
