- Maximum Memory: 64GB using ECC Registered DIMMs, 32GB ECC Unbuffered DIMMs
- Memory Expansion: 8 Sockets (4 sockets per processor)
- Bus Architecture: SSD SATA 3.5-inch; USB
- Memory Comments: Do not mix ECC Registered DIMMs with ECC Unbuffered UDIMMs. When installing 8GB RDIMMs, remove any other memory or system will not start up. This system supports triple channel mode when three identical modules are installed per processor. This system supports DDR3 1066MHz and 1333MHz memory depending on processor model. Uses quad-core and 6-core Nehalem and Westmere processors. Totals 8-core and 12-cores with two processors installed.
