What do you mean by Generic Memory?
We sell Generic Memory modules for white-boxes or non-branded computers. If you have a clone or a non-branded machine then this is the right place to buy memory for it. However, if you have a brand name machine like a DELL ,COMPAQ, IBM, or Gateway etc., then it is better that you use our configurator/memory selector, and select the correct manufacturer and Model of your machine. The configurator will offer you choices of memory for your system. You may find that your system cannot use a 512mb modules which you may have ordered had you not seen the configurator/memory selector. We test these modules for the manufacturer and model that you select and hence can provide a high degree of assurance that the module will work for the system selected.
