- Oem Cpu's.
- The CPU you are ordering, if it is designated as OEM it may be NEW or PreOwned.
- Depending on how old the cpu is and how long it has been out of production, the CPU condition may be new, pull, pre-owned, or like-new condition. The older the cpu is the more like it is out of production. In that case these pre-owned, pulls are the only ones available.
- ALL Oem Cpus are tested before shipping and carry a 21 day warranty for replacement only. There are NO cancellations or returns accepted for these parts.
- Please check your system requirements carefully before ordering cpu's.
- If you are going to use the cpu in a dual-cpu SERVER application or machine then YOU MUST match the SL code for the new cpu with your existing cpu. Please call us if you need help.
- SL codes - All INTEL cpu's are also designated by a Step code or SLcode. This is a 5 digit alpha-numberic code on the cpu itself. Your particular cpu may have many SL codes (think of them as versions of cpus made). In order to run dual cpus in one machine the SL codes must match
- If you have a brand name computer (eg HP, Cpq, IBM, DELL, you must provide us with a HeatSink part number or we will ship you a generic heatsink if you order one from us.)

Description: The 2.66GHz Pentium 4 506 processor features a 1MB L2 cache, a 533MHz front side bus, Hyper-Threading Technology and includes a heatsink and fan. It is designed for the 775-land package. The Intel Pentium 4 Processor provides the performance, quality, and reliability demanded by consumer and business customers.
The Intel Pentium 4 processor supporting Hyper-Threading Technology, Intels most advanced, most powerful processor for desktop PCs and entry-level workstations, is based on Intel NetBurst microarchitecture. The Pentium 4 processor is designed to deliver performance across applications and usages where end-users can truly appreciate and experience the performance. These applications include Internet audio and streaming video, image processing, video content creation, speech, 3D, CAD, games, multimedia, and multitasking user environments. With Hyper-Threading Technology (HT Technology), desktop users can experience greater system responsiveness and performance when multitasking. At home, users can encode audio and video at the same time or run a virus scan in the background without diminishing performance on their favorite game. In the office, HT Technology enables IT managers to deploy PC services such as encryption, compression or backup technologies while minimizing the impact on PC user productivity. In addition, multitasking business workers can experience greater system responsiveness enabling increased productivity. In summary, the Pentium 4 processor supporting HT Technology delivers a new level of performance and PC responsiveness for consumers and business professionals.
